The Northwoods of Wisconsin have some of the finest snowmobile trails in the country. Bring your own sled or you can rent one. We have snow and the forests are decked out in shimmering white! There are many places along the trails to stop and eat or do a little shopping or just take in the scenery. It’s breathtaking and the smell of the pines are almost therapeutic. Our areas have an array of cross country ski and snowshoe trails. There are ice skating rinks in every town. Wonderful downhill ski slopes are nearby. If you are an ice fishing enthusiast, you have over a thousand lakes to choose from to set up your gear.
