If visiting by car take Hwy. 45 South to Meta Lake Rd. to Dam Rd. Located in Three Lakes. Put into operation in 1911 to allow boaters to continue travel between the Eagle River and the Three Lakes chain. Open the Saturday before Memorial Day until September.
