Boat Hoist at Burnt Rollways Dam
If visiting by car take Hwy. 45 South to Meta Lake Rd. to Dam Rd. Located in Three Lakes. Put into operation in 1911 to allow boaters to continue travel between the Eagle River and the Three Lakes chain. Open the Saturday before Memorial Day until September. Camp Five Museum/Lumberjack Steam Train
Ride the Lumberjack Steam Train to an historic logging camp and spend the day having fun and learning! Watch a blacksmith work, take in the animal barn and petting coral, the nature center with its mounted displays, the Cracker Barrel Country Store for gifts, and a great museum covering the early days of logging in Forest County. Don't forget to take the Green Treasure Forest Tour by guided surrey, and learn about modern sustained yield forestry. Forest Art Wisconsin
A unique artistic experience will be featured on Raven Trail. Artists from all over the world will converge to create their art along the trail May 28th - June 16th. Raven Trail is located next to Clear Lake State Forest Campground in Minocqua. The artwork will be on display all summer long for the public to enjoy! This event is sponsored by the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest.
